Huzzah! First time ever in what....? Two and a half years...
I've took calligraphy for a hobby a few months ago and at last produced something which (IMHO) is worth showing people. It's much better than previous ones.
It is supposed to be an attempt at a Copperplate alphabet. Very similar to the Edwardian font in most computers.
The slant on the words is somewhat even for the capitals, but for the minuscules it is all over the place >.<... Need to practice that some more. The flourishing around the capitals is unsteady, but I can blame it on the large coffee mug...
Used a Leonardt 800 crow quill with golden Winsor&Newton calligraphy ink on black paper. The original size must be 10x15cm.
Hope it's not an eyesore. Any criticism is welcome and advices even more so!
P.S.: I should probably say the Edwardian font in most computers remind the copperplate alphabet as it's been around for a couple of centuries longer....
